Founded by Jonathan Berry, Brighter Nations brings together over a decade of experience in utility-scale renewable energy development — advancing solar, wind, battery storage, and other large-scale projects across the U.S. and abroad. Our expertise spans every stage of development: site control, permitting, engineering coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project management. While our core focus is on utility-scale energy, we remain open to smaller, community-based projects and to supporting partners in adjacent sectors.

The company’s vision extends beyond commercial success. Brighter Nations was built on the belief that clean, sustainable energy should be accessible to everyone — especially those who have been historically overlooked. Jonathan’s background includes project work in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, China, and Nicaragua, where he saw firsthand how energy access transforms lives. His Christian faith is central to this work, shaping the company’s ethic of excellence, humility, and service.
