Meet Jonathan
I'm a project developer by trade, with over a decade of hands-on experience leading utility-scale renewable energy development across the U.S. and abroad. I've led more than 1.9 GW of solar, wind, battery storage, hydropower, and broadband projects through permitting, interconnection, site control, and full project management — across ERCOT, WECC, and SPP markets.
My background also includes project work in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, China, and Nicaragua, where I saw firsthand how energy access fundamentally transforms lives. I hold an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, with graduate certificates in Renewable & Sustainable Energy and Engineering for Developing Communities.
My Christian faith is central to everything I do, shaping the company’s core ethics of excellence, humility, and genuine service. Guided by the principle that "to whom much is given, much will be required," I started Brighter Nations to be a firm that operates with absolute integrity, accountability, and a people-first approach to project execution.
